To give you at least some measure, though, a typical blog post or article of around 2 A4 pages (about 1000 words) would attract a fee of around $50. Again, explain to us what you’re after, and we’ll firm up the approach. (Scale the anticipated fee up or down depending on the scale of your needs.)

Similarly, a typical proofreading job of, say, 10 A4 pages (about 5,000 words) would also be around $50 – that’s about $5 per page, or 1¢/word. (That would include some editing suggestions, and some basic Style Manual checks, if desired.)
